Oh, I almost forgot Halloween!

I'll just include more than one picture for the day to make up for it. ;)

Spoiler alert......very scary Barbies a-head. ;P

Joseph, the Grim Sumo (aka the Sumo Reaper).

Fun-loving fairies.

Tom and Caroline with her first ever Jack-o-lantern.

Catch-up Time

A glimpse of the Stuart Air Show from my bedroom window.

Beautiful clouds.

More clouds, this time at the corn maze we went to.

A very shy spider, who kept going to the opposite side of the corn stalk to avoid having his picture taken.

I love the colors of this tractor - much more lively than the standard green.

"Yay! I think I know the way out."

Joseph takes the wheel with ease.

As you see above I've changed quite a bit since the last picture i took of myself. First my hair was chopped off for locks of love (top) Then bleached (middle) Then dyed pink! (bottom) Heehee.

This Past Week:

We enjoyed using our good old (at least 12 years!) Snoopy Sno-cone Machine. Mmmmmm!
I found this lovely sign at our local Hallmark store, and it was on sale too! It's like I was meant to have it hanging over our window above the kitchen sink. ;)
My ever generous and loving husband surprised me with this cool new recliner as an anniversary present. (There's my laptop right next to it, where I sit to post these pix. )

September Road Trip Summary (I tried to limit, really!)

It all started September 2nd, when we drove from FL to NC for the final Live and Learn Conference.

Then we drove to PA to see relatives we haven't seen in over two years. We also got to meet Sheila and her kids from the Shine with Unschooling list!

Next we headed to NY, then to CT to visit more relatives. The picture below is our kids' Uncle Frank getting Joseph's remote control helicopter off Aunt Fran's roof. He's our hero! :D
Gerri's home in VA was our next stop. She was so lovely to welcome us to her home on a lake. It was so peaceful! While there, we also took a day to tour Washington, DC.

Our final stop before arriving home was at Madeline's in GA. We had so much fun at her house and visiting their farm.

We finally arrived home on September 19th! Whew, what a great trip it was!!!!

No Longer MIA

I've taken plenty of pix, even though I haven't post in a while. Here are a few from July and August.

The beautiful and yummy dragonfruit which we tried for the first time this summer.

The beautiful roseate spoonbill that is often feeding in the creek outside our neighborhood.

The banyan tree canopy we pass under as we go to the waterfront park a mile from our home.

A frequently seen visitor at our front door window.

Joseph attended his first camp ever, bowling camp, and loved it!

The final day of Medieval Camp, run by two local homeschooling moms. They shot catapults, arrows, dyed their own fabric to sew money pouches, and so much more! They had a blast!

Angelica's fourth time attending summer cheer camp at one of the local high schools.

Another lovely sunset view from our front yard.
